2008 LBBC Scholarship Award Winners

Each year, LBBC awards four $500 scholarships to graduating LHS seniors attending college in the fall.  Applications are processed through the high school guidance department and the forms are received without any names.   A committee is formed by LBBC officers with those officers and members with graduating seniors NOT eligible for the committee.  The committee selects 2 young men and 2 young ladies and reports the winning numbers to the guidance department at LHS.   The winners are announced at the Baccalaureate each year which is when LBBC is made aware of the winners names.

This year, the Baccalaureate was held on Thursday evening, 12 June, at the Palace Theater in Manchester.  We are pleased to announced the following four LHS seniors as recipients of the LBBC scholarships:

Tom Tierney

Nicole Heffernan

Elise Berry
